PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Chicco YHT101 infrared ear thermometer (Ref. 216801) is a device designed to measure body temperature through the ear canal quickly, comfortably, and safely, even in newborns (0 months+). Thanks to its infrared sensor, it detects the thermal radiation emitted by the eardrum and provides an accurate reading in just 1-2 seconds. Its design incorporates a backlit LCD screen that allows you to clearly see the results in low-light environments. It also has an audible signal that alerts you if the temperature exceeds the fever threshold, internal memory to store up to 7 previous measurements, automatic shut-off to save energy, selectable units (°C/°F), and comes with a protective case.

- Tympanic type infrared sensor
- Backlit LCD display
- Measurement units: Celsius (°C) / Fahrenheit (°F)
- Memory: up to 7 saved readings

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Check that the probe is clean before use.
- Select the desired unit of measurement (°C or °F).
- Gently insert the probe into the ear canal, making sure it is properly positioned to prevent air leaks.

- Save the last measurement if you want to compare subsequent temperatures.
- After use, clean the probe according to the manufacturer's instructions and store it in its case.
WARNINGS
- Do not use the thermometer if the probe is damaged or dirty.
- Do not insert the probe too deep into the ear to avoid injury.
- Avoid getting the device wet or exposing it to extreme humidity.
- If the person has been exposed to extreme external temperatures, wait at least 15 minutes for body temperature to stabilize before measuring.
- A thermometer should not replace a medical diagnosis. Consult a professional if fever persists or other symptoms occur.
- Use appropriate batteries and remove them if the device is to be stored for a long time.
