The Tolérance Gel Cleansing Lotion from Avène is specially designed for sensitive, reactive, intolerant, or chemically treated skin. Its light, fluid gel texture—less greasy than a cream—allows for gentle cleansing and makeup removal without irritation or dryness. It is suitable for both adults and children (from 2 years old) and can be used on the face, eyes, and lips. It requires no rinsing, minimizing the risk of irritation to fragile skin.
PRODUCT COMPOSITION
The main ingredients in the formula include:
- Avène Thermal Spring Water: with natural calming and softening properties.
- Aquaphilus dolomiae filtered extract: helps reduce skin reactivity.
- Gentle surfactants such as coco-glucoside and sodium cetearyl sulfate: to remove impurities and makeup residue without harming the skin.
- Other gentle components (arginine, caprylyl glycol, buffer salts, among others) ensure gentle cleansing and preserve the skin barrier.
The formula is free of fragrances, parabens and alcohol, and is developed to be non-comedogenic and highly tolerable.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Apply an appropriate amount of lotion to the dry skin of the face, eyes and lips, using a cotton pad or directly with your fingertips.
- Massage gently without rubbing.
- Remove with a tissue or a damp cotton ball; no need to rinse with water.
- Daily use: morning and/or evening. After cleansing, it is recommended to follow with a moisturizing treatment suitable for your skin type.

- For very sensitive skin, it is recommended to do a first test on a small area to check tolerance.
- Avoid contact with irritated eyes or open wounds; in case of accidental contact, rinse with plenty of warm water or preferably thermal water.
